I'm getting an error every time I try and fail back SCR to CCR. I am ALWAYS missing a log file - AND it doesnt matter if I copy the whole logs dircetory from the scr server to the CCR server, it always says its a lossy failover and refuses to mount unless I force the restore-storagegroupcop - obviously I dont want to do this as I'm worried about data loss when the SCR site is available to fail back to the CCR site.
Also, every time I fail back the databases are in a dirty shutdown state (I dont know if this is indicative of anything).
I would post a copy of the error I get, but the error I get is word for word whats in figure 3 of the post at http://www.mmmug.co.uk/files/1956/download.aspxb - and its always that one last log that is missing - I can see the file being entered into the IgnoredLogs/InspectionFailed folder but dont know what to do with those - I thought they were placed in there if they were corrupted logs ?
When I am doing the failback I have the firewalls turned on on all servers (naturally) but have allowed powershell in - I am running Exchange 2007 SP1 with rollup 5 and Windows 2008 if that helps.
The servers all site on the same LAN at the moment - just separated by a local router so pretty much a 100MB connection between them so I dont think this is a latency issue.
If anyone has any advice or has seen this before then I'd be most grateful tohear from you.
