file share resource on in exchange group

    hi,

i have made a mistake and added a file share resource to my windows 2003 active /passive exchange 2007 group. the file share is only dependant on the disk, the same one that exchange uses for dbs. on that disk there are two folders: the one for the exch db and an additional folder which is used by the file share. no other exch resources are dependant on this file share.

now, i would like to delete this file share by doing the following:

    1. bring the file share resource offline

    2. delete it

can you see any problem with doing this? i know that once you delete a resource, all other resources that are dependant on it are deleted. in this case, no other resources are dependnat on this file share which i have created in the first place. the reason i need to delete it asap is that the exchn cluster does not fail over to the other node because this file share throws an error. i removed Affect Group from the file share, but i would still like to delete it so it does not interfere with exch.

shall i be aware of anything else?
